Just remember there is a reason they are 20k cheaper. Poor brakes poor suspension. Old cab
The poor brakes is more to do with how it's operated, there's pumas/t7s out there with thousands of hours on them and are perfectly fine! Suspension is similar big not better than JD in my opinion, I'm always sore after a day in a Deere. And old cab? JD candidate hasn't changed much in the last decade other than more things bolted on and I've yet to see a Deere with a Bluetooth radio as standard!

Our 6330 came with a Bluetooth radio in 2011.

I didn’t ask for it!

I think that different people have wildly different “needs” for their Tractor spec these days.

Driven newer Rseries and older 20 and 00 series, yet to find one with a decent radio... probably the same as all cases apparently have crap brakes, yet I've never seen any evidence of this.

The brakes in NH are probably the shortest life brakes on the market no matter how it's operated . I see plenty of t7200 with brakes going at 1000-1500 hrs .

3 older Pumas here two around 6000hrs and one at 4000hrs all semi powershift with the single discs. All trailers are checked 6 weekly and on air, I’ve never had a single issue.

Thank goodness for that DAB @whindy it might drown out your bashing

He had an issue with the dealership when he had a case . So his views could be slightly tainted. We only heard his side of the story.
There seamed to be a few problems with the case tractor and dealership .
I got the feeling he bought a case and then didn’t want it .

I did like the engine. The light steering good lock and semi power shift gear box and cab low noise level .and price.

The JD is not a bad tractor hence loyal following and our local dealer is very good however I found the 6155r numb to drive, felt it was over priced when specced like for like with the Case IH and at the price gap I’d have chosen the Fendt every time over the JD. This is personal preference. The JD engine is not a patch on the FPT Engine and through testing on our own farm at the tank they swallow considerably more fuel on the same job as other brands demos.

Brakes are problems with all brands and those who argue otherwise will never see it through blind loyalty to a brand of choice. A lot has to do with how they are driven and how the machines they tow are serviced or not as is often the case. Some people seem to think that because a trailer has air brakes no maintenance is required one purchased.

My Puma 165 CVX has been faultless thus far on 2400 hours in 2 and a bit years. Paint needs improving but cab is comfy, screen easy to use and customise to your own convenience and I use isobus for spraying with section control and drilling as well. I don’t have a problem with the cab but there could be improvements going forward with a larger windscreen wiper similar to Valtra/Fendt and possibly a slightly larger cab. The radio is basic but does fine and the internal aerial I found to be poor so fitted a good old fashioned aerial which made a huge difference.

Time will tell once price to change comes in how much it has cost to own but going by the back of fag packet figures that I have gone through with my Case IH dealer I don’t think it will be far away from where I budgeted.

The top of the case cab is dreadful for fading. Seen a 13 plate case, cab top was a faded pink.

Do vario case tractors come with bar axel, only asking because powershift ones seem to have it,
