Probably best for you to buy the rattle cans with paint in and not air freshener then!

If you prepped properly including degreasing a rattle can finish will last - I sprayed a Defender wing 7 years ago and it’s no worse than the rest of the paintwork

Would the spray paint stick to plastic? Probably would for a little while.

You can get trim products that will block the action of UV light...

Need to be applied when the thin is clean and unfaded of course.

I have driven a lot of Puma/CVX shaped machines. Always been pleased with how quiet they are, the light and airy cab and cab controls are a delight to use and the gearbox is excellent and I must say I have always found the cab and front axle suspension really comfortable once you have set the seat right.

I love JDs but the cab is always so dull and bloody brown like a little cave!

But how much less will the case be come trade in time?

It doesn’t matter does it as it’s cost less in the first place. The case was actually £20,000 cheaper than a same spec JD. add finance in and over 5 years it’s actually £24,000 less. Will it be worth £24,000 more after 5 years of ownership than the Case? If it is then we’ve still borrowed less money to buy the Case so still better off. If the JD is worth £30,000 more then yes we’ve made a mistake.
