I’m presuming we’re talking 10 series not a 6210R?
You need HMS on a 10 series to get the fender switches to work (properly!), would mean a bcu upgrade and programming plus the cab switches etc. Wouldn’t be a cheap job by any means!

Yes, a little old 6210, but it's tidy.
You have confirmed what I was thinking. I expected to see 2 different BCUs on Parts Advisor, one with HMS & one without. However there's only one part number for a BCU,,,,, 🤔

Usually for a slurry tanker, this guy has a drain jetter, this maybe for that.
Years ago I put buttons on a new JD5100R, the guy wanted to use a little concrete mixer on the back and be able to start/stop it without climbing up the steps..

Long time since I’ve replaced one but if I remember right you get something like an hour from first power on to program the parameters in the new bcu. After that some settings can’t be altered such as hours and hms etc. So only one part number.

On both my 6610 and 6910 I have just put a wire from the D plug directly to the spool for the pto. A switch with a fuse for good measure and there you go. Yes it will make all kinds of warning lights flash but hey, they do go out again.

So.... Is it possible to reset a BCU to like new so the addresses can be reconfigured??
A chap from Breizelec said they could reset it and it would be a 10 day turn around..
If there was a way to wipe it's memory I could save time...

Couldn’t tell you to be honest I’m not that well up on computers. It’s only a case of changing a couple of one’s and zeros but it’s something in the software that puts a time limit on how long you have to do it.
