Afternoon all, I recently upgraded myself to the 21st century with the purchase of a 6520 a little while back. Generally very pleased with it and it's a revelation to spend a day in compared to the SG2 cabs that I have been used to. There are however a few areas that I'm not sure if there are faults or whether it's just "as is" because of the electronic control taking away the operator option to "feather" certain activities...

  • Power quad gear change is very sharp in gears 1-3 with a seamless shift 3-4- should all changes not be smooth like this?
  • Clutch biting point will vary in position and aggressiveness, sometimes it feels like a normal clutch and others you feel the bite and then the machine suddenly and fully engages drive
  • Hydraulic function- spool valves or link arms slows dramatically when footbrake is depressed- is this normal? The hydraulics are actually much slower generally than a mate's 6630 but put this down to a smaller pump?
  • Spool valve, will function normally and then gradually lose function and you need to feather the lever to find a point where it will work. Switch off engine and leave for 5 minutes and it's fine again, then repeats.
  • Hydraulics are constantly "hunting" to maintain position and will drop to the floor with the engine off- no visible leaks can be seen from the lift cylinders.
Any experiences/ opinions very welcome on the above and very much appreciated :)
