John Deere 6630 low voltage code

Good evening all,

I get a Low voltage error in my JD6630 2007;

- DTI001 444.04 Low voltage

It indicates that the clock does not work as normal (and oddly enough the radio is not working).

Manual indicates that the DTI is basically the Command Center. The clock in Command Center is 0:00

All fuses behind seat are good so;

- Is there a "backup" battery for the clock in the command center (and possibly this is backup to radio too)?

- If so, where is it located and how to change?

I have plenty of Volts from alternator and main battery is good.

Look in the fuse area for a red wire numbered 0982. There's a single blade type connector where it connects to wire number 0162 (red).. The wire could be corroded to excess at this point.. I'm assuming you have no battery cut off switch??
If you have a battery cut off switch, there's a 1A fuse above the battery..

Thanks Tractortech, will check that in the morning,

By any chance does that wire end up in the loom that wraps very tightly around cab pillar as I have had wires short there before?

Yes, it will pass behind the rear pillar. I usually clip any damaged wires out of there, solder 3 or 7 core in. Routing it below the PUH lever. I then flatten the loom to fit better and slip a portion of grease cartridge between pillar and loom..
