Is there a similar solenoid for diff lock so you could swap it around?
I will look in morning, need to drain a lot of oil first !!Is there a similar solenoid for diff lock so you could swap it around?
First thing I would do is turn engine off, put into park and lift front of the tractor with merlo. If you can spin Both the front wheels By hand (check the prop shaft is turning!) then most likely your 4wd clutch pack is faulty.I will look in morning, need to drain a lot of oil first !!
I agree it looks like its internal (clutch)....just a bit surprised it worked one day and not the next and rather strange bulb failed at exactly the same time !!First thing I would do is turn engine off, put into park and lift front of the tractor with merlo. much quicker than faffing with the solenoids- if they fail, they normally get stuck IN 4wd. My money is on the clutch...
Hopefully not to bad a repair then@Planttech looks like the handbrake mechanism had something to do with it, the head is worn off pin and no circlip(s) either.
Hopefully not, looks a bit of a fiddle to get it apart and it is a bit strange it managed to hook the big circlip out the drum !!!! I found a u tube video of a guy assembling the clutch pack so that will help!!Hopefully not to bad a repair then
