John Deere 6930 10 reg overheating

John Deere 6930 suddenly started overheating when driving on main road
Doesn’t heat when idling but as soon as you rev up it heats rapidly
Heater putting out cold air when on hot
Any ideas guys, thanks in advance

Sounds like head gasket or buggered water pump unfortunately

Impeller will have broke off the back of the water pump. About £150 for a reman exchange unit and an hour to swop.

As phil says impereller broken off water pump, I had it happen on Friday on a 2010 7530. Do not try and drive home .

Pull water pump first and after that check thermostats (but they usually fail open)
