John Deere 6930 Drop Arms - Repair or Replace?

Hi

I am refurbing a 6930. Don't want it to be concourse but usable and smart.

The drop arms are shown below:

Or can just the winders be replaced (if the rest even comes apart, might be seized)

They need replacing. Try nick Young or burdens for a second hand set.

Buy a pair & let me know what they’re like. I recently had the threads rip out on an original one. Short term fix involved a welder but less than ideal! Had a price for Vapormatic complete units for £310.

just buy the new ones , your tractor is still worth a bit of money , keep on top of these things and its still a desirable buy for some one else if you want to change
