John Deere 7810 trailer brake adjustment

Can't on the tractor as far as I know, had a similar issue on a 6910 turned out hydraulic brake valve was sticking a bit, but the brakes on the tractor where fine with or without trailer, it was just that the trailer brakes wouldn't come on

I have 3 trailers all with tip top brakes that work fine on our 7530 and previous 6920s I thought there was a trailer brake valve we could adjust but no clues in operators manual!

Trailer brake valve pressure isn't adjustable. The adjustment on the valve only adjusts the point at which the trailer brakes are applied when the pedal is depressed. The trailer should always respond first. If you have a problem get a gauge plugged on the brake coupler. It won't be as high as a spool valve pressure. Could be a coupler issue, or the valve itself

Im my experienced, faulty brake valve symptoms were trailer brakes not releasing, ie tractor not letting oil back when foot taken off, new valve , good as new. above advice about checking pressure would be worthwhile before spending £350.
