its the one on the right hand side as you sit in the seat, located by the lift ram with the linkage to the top of the arms. Sorry for the bad description. It is bringing up error code HCU 55. If I put the arms up and down and turn it on and of it clears until next time think that sensor is tired? looks easy to change but don’t know how to calibrate. Many thanks for your help. Now Then..
Which sensor and why does it need to be changed?? 🛠
I am afraid I don’t know how to access technician mode. The wiring looks good would say sensor is got tired. I have got a new one but don’t won’t to fit it until I can calibrate. Think it may be a job for someone who knows what they are doing!Do you know how to access the tractor in 'Technician' mode?? Is the wiring to the sensor in good order??
About 6500 I think. why do you ask? Many thanks for your time. How many hours has it done??
Yes, it's probably best to have someone who knows..
Is there any chance I could put the new sensor on and it doesn’t need calibrating? Or is that a bit optimistic? How many hours has it done??

No PUH so may give it a go. Just don’t want to get in a pickle. Big thankyou for your time and help much appreciated. You could fit the new sensor. However it may read a slightly different value. Therefore, what the tractor knows as fully up and fully down may be in a different place. On a lesser tractor that would affect the PUH lift rods. I assume a big tractor perhaps doesn't have a PUH??
The hours are relevant to things wearing out. I think I've only ever changed 4 position sensors on all the 6000 series tractors we have around. Having said that, I've done many more TLS (front axle) sensors at what one would perceive as low hours.
