They're not John deeres finest efforts. What combine have you been running up to now? And roughly how much have you to cut ?

I was also looking at a CT5050. Case

I can't say that one is a model I'm familiar with. We went from a 2256 John deere to a 550 wts which is in essence a newer version of a 9560. We were disappointed with the output from the 550 was only marginally better than our 2256. The sieves are short and not as steeply angled, and on our rolling fields this lead to vastly increased losses and not as cleaner sample .
It was a reliable combine never let us down in 3 seasons just didn't live up to the salesmans claims about having ??% more through put.
Though being a smaller model a 1450 is based on the 1177 and that wasn't a daft combine. My neighbour has a 1470 and can knock off 30 ac a day with minimal fuss leaves a nice swath of straw and hardly any losses. They were just not as fashionable as the bigger models
The case model is a red version of the tx range twin drum good output but can smash up the straw. But saying that they all can if incorrectly set

The JD 1470 combine is by form and dimensions a copy of the JD1170, what happens is that the 1470 is Brazilian and its manufacturing, material quality and reliability leave much to be desired. The 9560 is made in Germany. I would move away from 1470

Indeed the 1170 and following 1450 / 1550 CWS both built in brazil were abit of a disaster in terms of metal and build quality, despite being heavily based on the 1177 / 1188 which were a great old bus.

If you have survived using a case CF80 then any of the Deere's will be a dream. I personally would look at the ct5050 case you mentioned, think you have the model number wrong, these were good combines. I think your biggest problem may well be getting a good enough price for your old combine.

I know it is old thread, but I bought CASE IH CF 80 Combine 2001 and I need some help with it. Maybe somebody know what this two buttons do? I can not find CASE IH CF80 manual so maybe somebody can tell me what this buttons do. I have marked them in the photo with red circles. Thank you.

Who made the CF80?? It was pre the Case/NH tie up.
I think I would get a genuine yellow one rather than a case copy, they were not made in the same factory IIRC

The CF combines have absolutely nothing to do with New Holland. The range you are thinking of is the CT range. These are basically the NH TX series in red paint, launched last year. The CF80 is one of three (CF60 and CF70) models in the Cross-Flow range of conventional combines which were designed by Case IH and built in the former Fortschritt combine factory in east Germany. The CF80 is the largest and was launched in 1998 with the other two models following afterwords. The CF80 is a high capacity machine with a 300hp 8.3 litre Case_Cummins engine. The cab is similar to the Axial-Flow but it differs in terms of the controls console and type of seat.

Have you tried ringin a long term Case IH dealer like startin tractors? They might be able to help my guess on green one would be electric side knife no idea on yellow one.

I can't speak Russian so I can't find Russian forums and the cf80 was made in Germany (as it is written in the pic) not Russian so why Russian forum?
