What would they be new 18 to 20k ?More than it should be 25k + likely
But needs the right audience to make big money
Realistically 15-20 k should buy it

When I see anything like that my immediate reaction is "Why?" (Did the owner die and the widow wouldn't sell it and she just died too?) I'm not being cynical I am genuinely interested in why these so called "Barn finds" occur. Lovely thing to find by the way! 2 or 4wd?Dropped on a barn find John Deere 2850 yesterday, it only has 248hours on it and it is like new, still has the plastic on the seat , what is a tractor like this worth ?
All these retro tractors are going up in value, worth 20k today easily, 5 years time 30k. Is it for sale? or did you just stumble on it while prizing a big barn door open with a big iron bar. imo get it bought and then gloat on here what you paid for it.Dropped on a barn find John Deere 2850 yesterday, it only has 248hours on it and it is like new, still has the plastic on the seat , what is a tractor like this worth ?

No the people that bought it are still here, they bought it to pull a set of mowers to cut all the grass a round the big house, used for a few years then put in a shed as they bought a new machine for cutting the grass around the house , boxes and other things were put behind it as time when on & it was forgotten about until they were looking for some in the shed and moved some boxes & there it was. When I see anything like that my immediate reaction is "Why?"
