John Deere children’s gator

Hi, I’m sure it’s been posted before.
Best mate bought one yesterday. It gets stuck on the slightest bump. It’s the plastic wheels that loose traction
What have people done to beat this? Don’t want to burn out the motor though with too much traction

Neighbour of mine cut the sidewalls off of, what i think were wheelbarrow tyres, then stretched them over the driving wheels on his lads gator, traction is a lot better

Found this with ours- it is mainly a problem when using it in gear ‘1’ for when the kids are really small. It gets stuck on a wet leaf! But you’ll find as soon as they are confident enough and they drive In speed ‘2’ it tends to send much more power to the wheel with grip and rarely gets stuck as much!
Be careful adding too much grip- they can strip the gears in the transmission...
