John deere Clima trac failure

My good old 7530 is having trouble with the climate control.

I have replaced the valve under the seat ( complete kit, with valve, wiring, bracket etc.)

But it's still not working properly.

Sometimes it's working properly for 2 hour's and then suddenly it will get really hot.

Fault codes are
1549.03 WATER VALVE MOTOR CIRCUIT VOLTAGE HIGH

1539.07 WATER VALVE MOTOR MECHANICAL FAULT

But they at all times.

Hoping that someone else has expired the same and has a good advice.

Jacob.

Sounds as hot coolant is circulating through the heater matrix when it shouldn’t. Can you clamp a heater hose by the engine or close a tap to eliminate that possibility?

I would check for any rubbed wires under the seat around the heater valve - circuit high would be a short to live causing the valve to open when not commanded (and the controller sees +12v on the wire when its not been applied)

Failing that, can you borrow a known good HVAC controller to test with?

In my case it was the (manual) controller that was at fault - only my symptom was a new valve wouldn't calibrate and the controller continually cycled it open / shut.
