Thanks in advance.....ps it's not the head gasket:p:stop:

@NZ Tech

Might it be a fault with the clutch pedal potentiometer?

Good call, I'll look into it, it did it once randomly one night a few months ago and the same tonight, incidentally after it's been working for well over 12 hrs on both occasions,

I did fit a new gear knob a few months back because the buttons fell out the old one, I wonder if I've disturbed a wire :scratchhead:

Could be wires that run through gear lever does it do it in one particular range? this was my dealers answer as mine was randomly stopping. Swapped lever it comes complete with wires thought it had cured it but did stop/start twice yesterday no code so not sure am at bottom of problem.

My 6430 started doing that too same message, and i also fitted new buttons on gear stick too, does it totally random too.

Looks like I'm not alone then!! I'll whip apart the gear lever when I get a minute and examine the wires :)

Oh no hope you get to the bottom of your problem! I'd be more frustrated if mine stopped without a code!

Big thanks @NZ Tech I'll look into it, at least it's not major, hope all is well

Does the declutch switch work at all Rusty?.

It could be wiring up the lever as above. Test continuity up the lever wires and earthing to the lever from each wire.

After that a new board. Tho ive seen one machine that persistently ever 8mths will pop up the same code and its not been nailed down what is the actual cause. So definitely test the wiring before buying a new board in the range lever!!.

I'm not actually sure if the button works I never use it!!

My first suspicion when it did it a week after I'd fitted the new lever was I'd disturbed a wire, so I'll check it out, just odd how it's been grand for a few months and it always does it at about 11 at night, it must be trying to tell me it's time to go home!(y)

@Kevtherev i'll take my chances!!
