John deere parts - gear shift cover

Hi.
I need a cover for the gear shift console on a 1950 John Deere. The part with the selectors seems fine. It is the housing that has failed.
Where is the best place to get them - or even the proper name for the part would be a starting point.

Thanks.

I can't imagine anyone is going to strike up and make something like that for what would realistically be a low volume sale.
With some skill and cunning I think one could make something from sheet steel.. 🤔

Will probably end up fabricating something to hold the shift gate in place - it's only really the top part that is broken.

I've sent them an email, so awaiting their response.
Also sent one to John Conaty who does a lot of breaking and parts.

I'll let you know if they turn anything up. I replied to the others before I seen your response. (y)
