So i just bought a nearly new 6145r with autopower. First venture into vario tractors but was wanting to see what ways people have mounted control boxes and phones etc into their cabs? Is it easier to just get a bracket from the dealer and put everything on that?
Yeh i kind of think this is probably the best option, would like to just see different ways people have gone about it. Im just being lazy to see if i can buy one made up! Only need it for a few screens, driller, sprayer, baler and one other gps screen for the moment until i get a jd receiver. Also kind of want to know what sort of holder people are using for their phones? What are you wanting to fit to rail ,have made two for r series , go full lenth from front to rear cab frame and put an upright that follows roof profile near radio ,which cb is fixed too,
also have a christmas tree affair coming up from floor to fixing half way up front pillar ,that the humongous spray box fits to , and 2630 to side of it ,
sit in cab and put your boxes where you find them handiest to reach ,work ,and build your brackets to suit ,might take you a bit of time if your welder friendly ,but do it right and how you want them ,not a generic fitting kit
Is that the fusion printer on the 2nd pic?Mine come with JD mounting bars but my latest tractors came in July with a full length bar that would completely prevent the use of door so I opted to use the bars from the tractors been traded.
Ah yes, but you don’t find the odd cable tie hanging on a nail or a gate do you?
