Don't know how true but heard on the bush telegraph they are having a bit of change to jd dealers in the south / south west .

I had a chat at Lamma with a very big player in the SW Ag Machinery business (not a JD dealer) I may have been told something similar to you .....

So who is going to go or are there going to merge, 2 dealers serve Devon and Cornwall where as the third only serves Cornwall.

Well I guess if there are only a half dozen big dealers they could say to JD well stuff you I'll sell someone else's tractors, a big swathe could disappear overnight.
These big companies come and go, ebb and flow. I don't hold with the opinion that the UK market doesn't matter to JD, they know any company that takes customers for granted will ultimately fail.
They have a good solid user base in the UK and are looking to keep it, albeit through total control.
