No Kubotas round here that I can think of, do see one go past occasionally pulling a trailer. There may be a few more nearer the coast I suppose.

I know nothing about them but cant stand the god awful colour scheme.

Maybe, once the brainwashed JD owners realise that most engines dont need regular head gaskets, and with favourable pricing, HRN might shift a few.
If Kubota provide Japanese car type reliability they will sell, dont have to go far on here to see folk moaning about breakdowns.
With the difference in price you could respray it any colour you like or go the way of one contractor and have it custom wrapped.

We have 3 M7s now, was thinking of having the wheels a different colour on each so I can see whos skiving with my binoculars!! This isn't one of them though!
Perhaps they ought to be like Valtra, apparently, you can take a pattern of one of your wife's handbag and they will paint it in that colour if it takes your fancy!

I don’t know who wrote Kubota web site but there are spelling mistakes all over the place. I hope they build tractors better than they edit their promotional media. I know I am not perfect but I am not trying to be a serious big time agricultural machinery manufacturer!

Perhaps it was done by some of the Kent Messenger reporters as some of them were getting torn to shreds on their site over spelling and punctuation.

It amazes me that the traditional big tractor names are facilitating the way for rivals like Kubota to gain substantial market share by giving them all the big experienced established dealers they could possibly ever have hoped for, all on a plate.
These big brands must be run by complete muppets.
What do they expect their ex-dealers to do other than set up with alternative keen franchises that will inevitably take a substantial slice of their customers with them to their new brands?

I suspect that what they, the bigger brands, are doing is to push their puppy-dog, most cooperative dealers, into expanding and so much debt owed to their motherships that the big brands more or less take control of those dealerships while leaving the owners and directors with the debt, the stocking costs of new and used machinery and very little else but a wage. The big brands are effectively 'vertically integrating'. Not getting rid of the middle man [dealer] but taking almost complete control of him by stealth and debt. Debt that will be mostly due to expansion and overstocking with large expensive equipment, both new and used. The big brand will then offer something like 'financial managers' that will oversee the management of every aspect of the business in accordance with the will of 'big brother'.

Maybe I'm imagining all of this or that it is mostly just plain wrong. All I can say is that is looks that way from where I'm stood for more than one brand except that one stands out above all the others at the speed of progress. We shall see whether they retain their respective market shares over the next few turbulent years for farming globally.
I personally agree with this view. It’s not going to end well for dealers or end user. JD parts have become a monopoly now they all have the same retail price and some prices a rip off in my opinion.
