John Deere reducing dealerships

if they can’t complete on stadard they will more than make up in price !

that’s what JD etc should (and do) fear
The quality of the build of the product is good, warranty is very good, drivability is good...the range is lacking obviously especially compared to what they will of had access to, but they now have the agency for the market leader in construction and groundcare in their sectors....as well as securing Kverneland for a huge swath of Scotland...

We have been really pleased with our orange edition to the farm and the quality has been as good as any we have seen both before and after getting it. My understanding is it is no different with the bigger models the only thing I have heard say iffy about them is that the new 8 series is a true American tractor that you can see it is made and targeted predominantly for that market. I also believe that they are one of the fastest growing makes in the US and gaining on JD quicker than other makes.

As i understand it the M8 built by versatile is a ZF transaxle with a Cummins engine, and kubota dash/armrest...but we are told that we won’t get that tractor in the uk...not until it has the kubota 6 pot that they launched earlier in the year. That is a 7.5 litre , so should be good for a big range...but have no idea on the time scale of it...

I think the Versatile versions look great. I'm a big fan of Cummins engines.

Does the Cummins engine not meet EU emissions standards?
I don’t think so! The American and Canadian market for kubota is so strong that they needed a tractor and the M8 has been in the making for some years...my rep has sat on one in Japan and said it’s a great looking tractor, but I think it will be good to have that Kubota lump in it too...bit different to most going for a big literage engine! It’ll be like TM days!
