John Deere have been flexing their muscles again. Johnston Tractors to lose JD franchise at all 3 depots. Cornthwaites are to take on the areas affected. It would seem the super dealers are to get biggar.

I think this has been in the “offing” for sometime. Sure Howard and Lorna have a plan for “life after John Deere” I guess all the guessing and rumour mill will grind into gear now. It’s the way things are these days!

They still havnt learned from their mistakes here , they dropped a very good dealer who then switched to NH , and he held most of his customers and JD lost a lot of sales over it , they then did the same to another top dealer in the west and he is now flying with another brand , selling away to his JD customers , it's easy to see why JD have gone from 26% market leaders 3 years ago down to 19% and down to third place , if that's good marketing management it's all a joke. Very poor treatment of very loyal customers . They walked into one dealer and handed him a letter telling him he was gone.

John Deere with the Spanish dealers has done the same, I also think that he has been wrong and that he had been a sales leader for decades, now NH is fast approaching him

Heard Johnston tractors told JD where to go, got sick of the hassle.
JD lost a lot of sales round here because of price and treatment of dealers, so 1 dealer could probably manage what few tractors they will have.

What are the details of sales leagues over there?
