Jones Baler

Girl admitting defeat... Bought all the kit I needed to make my own conventional bales 2019. All went well then hired out my Jones 155 baler and it all went wrong.

Help needed, the bill hook is broken. Can't seem to find advice or spare. Not sure if it's easier to replace the whole knotters etc in one big piece together either?

@Red Shed, I probably have one, let me know if you need a hand, depending on where in the country you are, I could fit it for you.

Question is... why did it break...?! That nasty plastic string wont be helping...!
Afraid I'm Hampshire /Berkshire border. Oh dear ? Does that mean I have it set up wrong?! It worked perfectly for the first 2000 bales - I must have worn it out!

Ah, a bit far from home then.

No, I doubt it will have been set up wrong, what exactly has happened to it? I can't really make out from the photos...

Anyhow, I have some proper, original Bamford ones (as would be fitted to your Jones 155, it was largely a Bamford Baler by the time they made these) on the shelf. Send me a PM and we can exchange details and the like.

Fitting it wont be a big task, I can talk you through that, no problems. :)
