do you not have a juno at the moment, thinking of changing?

No. Silage contractor trashed it a few years ago and we realised that we just don’t push up enough. Back of fag packet call suggests under 12 month pay back so “no brainier”

There's one in the Vale that spends most the time with the red light flashing!

Poorly set up? Spoke to a friend earlier today who has one and after a few teething problems is very happy with it

I will enquire for you

Local firm to me sells and services them, hear rumours of a bad batch of drive wheels causing a lot of trouble, personally think the JOZ equipment is pretty good but after several bad experiences I won’t be dealing with said company who sell there stuff and provide backup.

I really can't see how they pay, push up twice a day tops here.

Our jerseys are champion sorters. When we ran a Juno reckoned it was worth between 0.5-1 litre per cow per day as a result of keeping the food in front of them. Push was x6/day starting three hours after putting out then 3 hour intervals. Payback is quick

SAS? Apparently the Dutch have sorted the wheel problem as the original were designed for their floated and resin sealed barn floors not the British rough arsed tamped concrete :)

Out of intrest then, if pay back was so quick why didnt you just replace the juno. Surley the contractors insurance covered it?

Stupidly we never claimed on insurance because that was the final nail after the vet & a delivery lorry had taken their turn. Hammered back in to a rough shape but it was never the same again until we finally had enough and cannabilised it for parts.
Didn't replace immediately as too much building work going on but we may have stopped for a couple of years so looking again
