Due to work and other commitments, Jeremy ( @JP1 ) has decided to step down from his moderator role

Jeremy has been a TFF moderator right from the start and a key member of the team, his hard work and commitment have been greatly appreciated by all involved with running the forum. It's a mostly thankless task but an essential part of a community such as TFF, involving strength of character, impartial judgment and acceptance that pleasing all is never possible. He should leave the role proud that he has been part of building something that is of true value to many farmers every day

He still plans to be around the forum but just as a regular member so will not be a stranger hopefully

I hope all TFF members will join me in thanking Jeremy for his time over the years, Thank-you Jeremey

We are now considering how best to fill the gap he will leave, his input was always particularly useful from a livestock point of view, we will spend some time considering and inviting replacement long-standing community members who feel able to bring balance to any falling outs that inevitably occur whilst helping police the spam and uninvited commercial content we are hit with daily, we welcome your suggestions

@Bald Rick has got his hand up !🙋‍♂️

I think we will look for a few to replace JP ideally, we have been thinking for a while a few extra sets of hands would be a good idea

certainly, some with a livestock background as the remaining team are now very arable biased, someone from a different time zone would also be a great help as we are often uncovered through the night

We will consider your suggestion along with others :)

Echo above sentiments.

A gentleman.

I hope you will stay around @JP1
Yes I will be. I feel like this place has become part of me. I didn't make this decision lightly as I had made similar decisions previously to step back off various breed societies and other things

Fact is I work full-time, busy always on my Out Of Hours farming and with Rach living 25 miles away, something had to give a bit

I will still be a very active member and hopefully now just do the bits I enjoy.

Having said that, if there is anything I can help with, please PM me at any time and I will do my best to assist

Well done JP for all the hard work, never understood how you could stick it, with your other commitments, especially personal. keep safe and hope to seed you around sometime.
Thank you (and thank you all for your kind comments)

Now as an hordinary mortal I can't even correct your typo so I shall leave it for @Bald Rick to make a suitably crude innuendo whilst he still can before going to the dark side ....
