JS145 hydraulic problems

Location

Hoping someone can help or have experience of this problem. Having been breaking out rock for two days with hydraulic hammer my JS145 had developed a creaking sound. At first thought is was creaking pin so jumped out and re-greased all pins. Noise still there, seemed to be worst when dipper moved back and forth but its not coming from dipper. Seemed to be from around cab somewhere, then tracking and other movements started making noise. Assume its hydraulic issue, perhaps pump? Switched machine off in case of more damage from pump failure/filings etc. Any ideas?

Check suction filter in bottom of tank , usually access through access panel bolted on top of tank. , usually got a long handle type rod on it to,pull it out , hammers need big flow could be pumps, straining for oil.

Thanks will have a look tomorrow. Just wondering has anyone come across a failed pump, what would be the symptoms?

Failed pump usually hot oil and lack of power and engine dying out.
Engine running sweet and not under strain and oil temp gauge showing as normal. Still plenty power just this strange creaking noise and was only on raising dipper initially but then on raising boom and finally tracking. Very strange.

There’s 2 pumps on those machines, they feed services independently the best example is the track motors these are both powered independent from each pump so if one is failing then it will be very obvious when you track it.

I thought that but it seems it's hydraulic related as its affecting tracking now too. Would aeration be a possibility if pumps are not filling due to suction filter in tank as mentioned above?
Has yours got a filter behind main boom pivot point beside cab? Return from hammer line and I think it may have a bypass on it for when it’s choked so may make a noise worth a look
