Just heard them talking about it on radio 4. Plenty discussion about equality and womens rights etc etc. what if he was looking at gay porn? That would take half the wind out of their sails I guess.

I was a little annoyed at the use of the chance to talk about how women are treated when in the woke world they are trying to create they shouldn’t be assuming he was degrading women or threatening them.

What about merit? Quotas based on anything other than merit and ability are always a very dangerous and divisive thing IMO.
I despair.

Seems somewhat strange that a really good MP ( one of the very few) gets fired for checking out a bit of porn when nothings happening in parliament but MPs of all parties believe it's perfectly acceptable for our young kids to access it at any time, total bloody hypocrisy it would seem!

Perhaps one day he will get some redemption like Brooks Newmark who was briefly a minister in 2014 before being forced to resign in a sting in which he sent naked pics of himself to an undercover reporter but is now spending his own money helping Ukrainians flee the east of their country. Helped over 7,500 women and children to date

Sounds like there's pressure on Lord Frost to resign his peerage, stand in this byelection if/when it happens, and then depose Boris as Prime Minister!!

No its not polite or ethical but for goodness sake its not a crime. Also the idea that is offensive to "all women" is ridiculous.

I'm not condoning him. We are all flawed in our own way. I think he was wrong to do it.

In many ways it's not about being old fashioned or not, lots of things could be old fashioned but reprehensible. As I say if he read a racist joke on his phone would that be better or not?

I just think I don't think he should be put out to slaughter on it even if I didn't like it.

Unless your search engine works different to mine then it's pretty difficult to type that in and end up watching porn by accident

Strangely while I think auch behaviour is reprehensible I would agree that it is sad that he has to resign as we can all agree that that he has been a good representative for farmers in Parliament.

Well we probably don't disagree as much as all that.

I don't think we can go through life expecting our MPs to be flawless, He was wrong to do what he did but equally I feel sorry for him.

My mp sent sleazy messages to his intern. I didn't like it, not because he sent the sleazy message but he paraded himself as a Christian family man, the hypocrisy made it worse rather than the deed (I wouldn't do the deed either way but let him cast the first stone and all that...)

If porn is so degrading to women, then maybe women generally should ask themselves why some of their number consider it quite acceptable to make a very profitable career choice out of everything from “fashion shoots” to hard porn. Many women have a choice in this matter. Those are the ones I’m referring to.

Women forced to do pornography work is quite a different matter. They are truly victims who deserve all the support and help they can get.

For the record I’ll make it clear that I don’t agree with pornography at all, but I find it disingenuous for some women to condemn it as a male problem when it’s women who build careers upon it and profit from its production in all of its various shades.
It’s a two sided thing in my view and neither side can claim the moral high ground.
