Can you still get wind deflectors? Used to have these on my motorbike. With decent gloves and heated handlebars they'd just keep the wind off your knuckles

Got a Honda quad, the throttle lever sticks out far to much, which could be lethal,if you caught it with your knee when getting on or off,or with your coat etc,so we undid the 2 screws clamping it to the handlebars twisted it down so it is not sticking out, which makes it ten times safer to use.I would not use mitts on any quad these days got crushed years ago due to them.

Mile half down main road to feed got there and realised hadn't put my coat on.
Need to work out the correct height but no wind on me at all just a back wind that keeps your hood up in rain[emoji1]

Arse of a thing in snow! Or even just rain - you've no visibility (try driving your car without using the window wipers)
You have to get the height right. You look just over the top. Anybody shorter than me hates it because they have to look through it. Fortunately us southerners don’t have to go out in the rain much.?

could do with one, where did you get it from?
It’s Moose handlebar quad shield. Was a disaster to start because mounted on the handlebars it was to low and forced all the wind straight in your face. Then I mounted it on the rack and it worked perfect and the frame just lifts off for fencing. Logic I think do one but it’s tall so I think you have to look through it?

You won't know what snow is even :ROFLMAO:

If you're looking over it, does the wind deflection/turbulence stop you getting it in the face? I always thought you were meant to look through them and it kept the weather off if you (I've never had one on my bikes, but its obviously like a car window) ?

I’ve mainly wanted one for stopping flies in the eyes, nothing worse than having to wear sunglasses on dark gloomy days even this time of year  especially when I hate sunglasses so I don’t even wear sunglasses in the summer if not driving on the quad.

Unfortunately the only thing it stops is wind not going that fast! When it’s raining it’s still the most miserable place to be although I have been know to ride To ride MotoGP style in a downpour.

@Nithsdale Farmer now you have two bikes, you need to keep the Suzuki for summer and accessorise the Artic Cat like this
