What are the thoughts on it? Kelvin Antionette and the BBC are trying to cash in on the Clarkson's Farm series that they missed out on I think.

There is a really good farming programme on S4C at the moment, Teulu (family) Shadog, really enjoying it, it is available on catch up with subtitles. Gary is really hard to understand, his wife is a bit easier, but she is a TV presenter. Harry's farm is also very good on YouTube, I wonder why the BBC manages to turn out programmes like that on mainstream viewing!

Recorded it to watch later on but yes it will a little less adrenaline filled than clarksons farm.....

120 acres - profitable sheep. I assume his profit will be from the other farmhouse that theyll tart up for holiday rental. Wondering where the money is coming from as nether are A class celebs. He said he wants it to pay.

Wants to be profitable....rents out 2/3rds of the land, buys a new JD. Makes chain harrowing rather pricey! And, he's being 'advised' by someone who's sheep are sh1t high with feet that haven't been touched for way too long. Good luck with it (but don't give up the acting). As they say 'farming...gives you a nice place to live'.
Turned it off after 10 mins. What a pile of crap.
Staggered this made prime time BBC 1 (orwas it 2). Absolutely set up by some woke media executive trying to showdown Clarkson and Amazon Prime.

Wife shouted at me to say something on tv I should see. Walked in to see a maggot foot, one that’s had maggots for at least 10 days.
Not know what the program was I then see them worming ewes and lambs….odd I thought, then they said the dud it every 10 days!!
At that point I laughed and said it must be a joke and walked out the room.

In the newspapers other day about it and the 180 acre farm he bought and knows nothing about farming apparently?
Emmerdale Farm would of taught him a bit as in the good old days farmers watched it to see what to do that week???

You have to have some sort of qualifications to do most types of skilled jobs. Why is it that any tom dick and Harry can buy/ rent some ground and livestock and treat them badly (ok not intentionally) but mainly because they don’t know what to do. At a time when wormer resistance and antibiotic resistances is such an important thing I think some sort of training/ qualification should be required for to be the main person responsible for the well being of livestock, although a primary job it is a highly skilled one.
