just wondering what people use on the kennel floors we sat our kennels on a concrete slab but when the weather gets warm the smell of ammonia is really strong we can't use any disinfecting fluids as the drain runs into the resoviors was thinking something like a resin paint or similar

Just put a strong skim of cement over the top with a decent fall and finish with a steel float. Wash water needs to go to a decent underground drainage system, preferably with a settling chamber to collect solids. I had a problem for years until I piped my kennels into the domestic septic tank -- but don't tell anyone!;)

Thats how mine is now plenty fall floated and drain into septic tank, that resin flooring above would finish them nice ! looks dear tho.

I would ask at your local builders merchant. Probably offer you self levelling compound. Just knock it up with a drill and whisk and pour it on then trowel out your bubbles.
Might need to rough up your existing floor and give it a coat of uni bond to get it to stick!

So pee and sh!t is ok in reservoir but disinfectant isn't? . .? Do you wash daily? Could a weak hypochlorite solution be an option? It's fine in a pool!

I shovel sh!t and sawdust up and wash down concrete so there isn't much effluent. It's more in the summer months when it warms up the smell of ammonia gets strong
