Those cattle looked grand, especially considering they were predominantly AA x Holstein, had been outwintered grazing beet and that pasture was at 1200’ iirc. Obviously they won’t top the market, but reared at an extremely low cost to leave a good margin.

A good (half) day out.👍

Yes looked very well and shows the system works in practice with cost savings on bought in feeds.
Some very clean grass leys too
(Plus no cyclists present)
