What, every job!?

We spread 1200t last week on 14 farms . That would take some doing.

What I have done is delivered half premium quality and half screened lime which is kept outside (so is moist) to some jobs. We then mix on site which is working well. Customers are happy with it.

The quarry that produces the premium ground lime have no water whatsoever in their lagoons, so have me way of damping it down a bit. It’s either produce dry lime or none at all.

Just like farming, they need rain.

Cider's your answer. Plenty of cider will keep you refreshed, with the added advantage of a ready supply of lime wetting fluid after you've used it. (y)

Where I often think these leafy hybrid turnips fit in is as a catch crop take a cut of silage off late may June time spray off and direct drill in graze off before September as a summer graze crop before reseeding in September.
(Not always possible though with the current weather we have experienced)
