Kicking cows

Forum all new to me sorry if I'm doing things wrong.
Having problems with heifer's I kicking after 5/6 weeks in milk stand fine till then, I'm thinking tests getting sore around this time, problem persistent since new Parlour went in 8 years ago. Running a westfailia had it serviced and tested no problems. To me vacuum and pulse can be set same for every Parlour, so think I'll change shells and liners !!?
Anyone any ideas or had similar problems I would love to hear .
Thanks .

Might give that ago , teat condition seems ok before milking but a bit hard after original thought pulse was wrong but after dynamic ruled that out, just wondered what difference shell diameter and length made to pulse, I see fullwood are doing a six sided liner anyone tried those.

What is your pulse and vacumn settings
Do you run acrs
Dynamics test says everything is right but is it right for the way you want to milk rather than right for the tester and better still right for the cows

Vacuum -42 kpa pulse rate 62,pulsation ratio 64, dynamic done by dairy co. I think.
Have acrs and yes ringing at top of teats wipe before milking and strip twice weekly.

Might be worth checking your acr settings to see what milk flow reduces to before cluster removal and time between low flow and removal. We had similar issues 30 yrs ago with delaval acr 5000, leading to sore teats and kicking, think flow rate was at .9 l/minute and would remove after 30 seconds at that flow rate.sounds like a problem that is increasing the longer they head into lactation

Just to add to this ,is the acr pulling the unit off before the vacumn is fully shut off

Low milk flow is set at .4 I presume that is litres a minute also think yields are affected even in cows as don't milk out clean every time sometimes up to 2 litres after acr stop . Think Parlour is just sh!t should have bought robots

Where are you based ? Our local Gea dealer has an excellent reputation unless they have fitted yours, sounds like parlour setup is the problem somewhere. With regards to robot's I cant fault you

I know dealer is the problem any faults so far have been down to poor installation but what can you do , an independent guy can't get parts that's why we're getting ripped off Pedometers at £100 bit of a joke going to have to buy a bull

Rings round top of teat sounds like over milking, acr settings .4 sounds right, so I'm not sure what to say, I would watch the milk flows, are they coming off once milk flow slows or is there a delay? How long from you wipe till clusters on? I'd try stripping every day for a week and see what difference in milk flows, what you don't want is milk flow slowing down around 1 minutes after cluster on
