Looking for somewhere to entertain 2 children for a day to split the journey home from Windsor to Northumberland.

the forbidden corner, middleham suitable for children from school age 5, upto grandad at 75 ,great outdoor family fun reasonable cost and a good eating pub attatched plus cafe and picnic areas, youve got to book a few days or so in advance more if weekends, weve taken friends with kids and adults of all ages, all have come away saying how much fun they had ,

Someone recommended the forbidden corner before we left so we'll maybe visit there. After Legoland we'll give Alton towers and Drayton manor a miss till another year.

Our lot enjoyed Cadbury World on their way home from Lego Land / Winsor castle

Much to their surprise grandkids enjoyed Winsor castle more than Legoland, just slightly !

Yes ok for 1 day. Queues could be a problem when English schools break up. Had as much fun in Windsor castle and a open top bus ride and a river cruise today though (probally for less money!)
