Killing millet

Grew some summer cover in failed rape ground, and it did jolly well. Bit too well possibly.

Anyhow, topped it, 2x cultivation passes and the buckwheat, phacelia, clover, mustard etc are long gone but the japanese(?) Millet, has gone bananas.

What does it need? 4lts gly plus wetter?

That or you can take it out of the following crop with anything that wipes out oats.

Topping mine steadied all the above, but the millet has taken off. Just received 4lts of Glyphosate to give it a headache.

a LOT less than 4l of glypho will take out millet . . .

it is commonly grown here as a summer cover crop to provide ground cover & residue ( thus building up soil moisture ) for following dryland crops & terminated with a glypho application

We changed game mixes because of millet problem , and used gramminicide , see to inch where it had gone , it was 2/3 inch tall , and ran drill out round a fallow field , it was round up off 3 weeks ago and it going now
