he's certainly ambitious. and has taken some brave décisions. his setup seems wonderfully optimiséd. I was actually surprised/confuses that his net margin/Ha was as low as quoted in thé film.
Remember that in much of the USA land is SO much more cheaper than here in Europe, so much so that creating a business plan that is profitable over fixed costs needn't involve high incomes.

Thats exactly why i thought hé would bé making more profit/ha. If land is cheap, his inputs are low and his harvests are worth harvesting i would of imagined it would produce more 💰/ha.

If hé is doing better than so any other farmers in thé states, i'd hâte to think what their accounts look liké!

I would really liké to replicate a lot of what he's achieved. my head is spinning with thé possibilitys!

Most American crop farmers are losing money (before subsidy and crop insurance), just like many English and most Welsh ones.

Before subsidy. nearly all french farms too. (mine is currently included) but i really Hope to bé indépendant of subsidies in a few years. I dont think thé CAP is going to last forever.

Interestingly, thé few farms i know (because i've Seen their accounts) who make a profit without subsidies are all under 30 hectares.
