Knepp castle before Groundswell?

Think it was 2016 I stayed at knepp. I really enjoyed it. Lovely sheoherds hut. Something different . Of course its not farming. They've diversified taking advantage of the massive population on their doorstep. And why not. I'd do similar if the opportunity arose.
Most importantly I didn't get an anti farming vibe. I spoke to C B after listening to him at groundswell and again thought he came over well.
Interestingly most of the people who I got chatting to at knepp were there birdwatching. They hadn't come to see a farm. Got me thinking.

It’s not at all personal. I’m just being honest. I wouldn’t say he got the job because of his experience or past record.

Same as most things to be fair - I am currently dealing with the European large herbivore expert that is linked with knepp. She is the pony and cattle expert and advising on farming matters etc. Nice woman but didn’t know what a holding number was, or a herd number, has no clue about how much animals need to eat of their management and is scared of large herbivores .....

Same as the no predator control at knepp 😂 aye right.

Lovely place but a magnet for those who believe in style over substance
You sound quite bitter about it.
