We have been twice over with some 12m vaddy nz spring tines fb 7.2m rapide drill on well weathered clay. Not too may wheelings which would otherwise spoil the job.
Colinv6 the windowsNo you want a 3m press for a 3m drill.
This is my outfit . Pic taken on some Sumo land after spuds, but I’ve just drilled spring barley in one pass on some stiffish ground and it’s made a nice enough job.

Indeed.Your Rapid is 7.2m? To get 36m tramlines in 5 runs?
Tidy, but I reckon you could drop that press off, along with the PH tines, and still have nicely planted seed. We can't see the other end of the field, though.I made my own press from a farm force plough press. It’s a double ring row press and I put steering on it and it’s transformed combi drilling for us. Cost me about £700 to do it and worth every penny. It’s 2.5m so just inside the width and makes it easier to get in places for front swing.
