Is anyone running one of these on heavy land? I want to work the land 50-75mm deep with a machine with narrow tine spacings. Are the tines and frame robust enough and how much power do they take? Currently looking at a 7.5m one.

Thanks

Perfect machine for what you want to do. There is no problem with the tines and frame very well proven machine. Will leave a consistent level finish while mixing any trash. Power requirements depends on so many factors, working dept, soil type, speed (10-12kph is best) hills etc. The current 7.5 model can have its working width reduced to 5.3 if conditions or tractor availability dictates which makes it a very flexible machine.
Where were you looking for at a 7.5?

No problem with tines or frames. Plenty of 20 year old machines
Still being used as the frontline cultivator. At that sort of depth
50HP per metre to maintain 12kph forward speed. A little more if on
Steep hills.
