Would the above work straight on stubble then followed by a combination drill

Yes but would ride out on worn points and skate on wings in hard going. Treat yourself to Tungsten points and they are a game changer.

Yes it will do that, you may have to do two passes and as @Cow1 says the Tungsten points much improve it in dry tough conditions.

Pictured below is a Tungsten point fitted to a Delta and the original Kongskilde point, you can see the Tungsten point is much more aggressive

@CharlieM used to run one of those in front of a trio if I remember correctly.

I used to have one on the front with plough on the back. They're ok for light cultivation but not really what I'd call a terra disc tbh

We have a front set of terra discs and opico rear discs and use them together to disc stubble's lightly before combi drilling grass
When you say in front of a combi i assume you mean as a separate pass

Was kind of thinking 1 on the front with a combi on the back but with a tool bar on the combi

You need speed to make the discs dig in or they just roll round on the surface, so i dont think it would work with a combi
