Are they any good , what should I look out for if I look at one and what height are they? Ta
we had a 312se very good machine and extremely capable, but as sed eats kingpinsBetter than 2wd with loader. 312SE is rear wheel steer and notorious for knackered universal joints (£££) and pivot pins as one axle does all the steering. 312LE (?) is 4 wheel steer so each axle only has to turn half as much, so half as much wear?
Solid old buses but don't expect miracles for £4k?
http://www.kramerallrad.co.uk/ for parts in the North
Ours has done nearly 14k hours, no major problems and very handy. if you go to see one jack it up and check the uj's
Did you ever replace the brake liners on your 312.Try and get an SL, they are strobger built, ours has done well over 12k hrs, with no major problems, although it has just had UJs wll round recently, its still used every day
