Kramer/ class/ wiederman joystick

Anyone know of any easy fix problems with the shuttle switch on said joystick. Wont go forward or backwards, then sometimes after switching on and off a few times it does work for a few minutes then stops again. Have had joystick apart and checked the wires. Will have to ring dealer but im guessing all they will want to do is put a new joystick in that will cost a 4 figure amount.

No sure on Kramer but you can get switches for most makes, just put buttons in Merlo. No joystick required! Just ring the dealer ?

Could be the switch, could be electrical, could be solenoid.

Had an issue with mine where dashboard would say forward or reverse when changing direction but wouldn't move. Ended up being an engine speed sensor at fault

It might be worth checking the interlock safety bits that disable movement. Handbrake, seat switches and so on.
