I've got one.easy to set.pretty accurate.spread charts online.cant fault it
Nick...
Having had one I think there are better basic machines out there ,
What have you got now ?.
Ive no experience of the Kuhn but there are lots of krm spreaders about.ive heard the odd comment about dusting fertiliser but it must depend what you put through them.headland spreading is a bit of an experiment what with slowing the discsSo no problem with aggressive discs which dust fertiliser and over loads trays behind the tractor , expensive replacement vanes , and a headland system which when you get it applying right against the hedge isn't throwing far enough on the other side , ours ate it's gearbox which was bloody expensive
Apart from that a good spreader but not in the same league as a basic Kuhn 30.1 imo !!!!!
I've got a fancy one and I'd expect a simple one to still be a very good spreader as it's the same mechanical bitsHas anyone got a basic kervenland spinner? Two bag model as I have been offered a new one and wondered if they are any good. Thanks
Thanks for that, Tbh I am a bit confused as some say krm are best but my guess is they are only as good as the fertilizer being sown and the man driving
They were very common round these parts until people started buying cheaper fertilizer and started getting problems with dusting to be fair most of the time tray testing can sort it as with any spreader my brother in law ran one and trays sorted him a few times but I do know he had to spread some products a lot narrower on grass to get them used up as couldn't get to 24m.Thanks for that, Tbh I am a bit confused as some say krm are best but my guess is they are only as good as the fertilizer being sown and the man driving
