Thought i'd give here a try for some help. Have one of these and trying to remove disks as they're slightly wobbly (no fault of mine ) can't find a way unless i start taking gearing to pieces under the disks. Btw its not the same design as L2. Also do the disks have to be perfectly in balance?mine aren't to bad really. Before i start digging in and making matters worse for myself! Tia

You have to split the housing, remove the bolts, prise one half off, leave one half attached to the spreader. If you have movement on the discs It will be most probably the top bearing.

Replace the top seal when you're replacing the two bearings, nearly always the problem because of water ingress,
we use grey upol tiger seal when rebuilding as it's as near to the original that's available, also just for peace of mind take note of the orientation of the veins before disassembly and rebuild the same way..
