KRM Soladrill 4m Tine Drill

I'm considering selling this;

2007 4m folding tine drill.
Front cultivator bar (removable if required)
3 rows of 'elite' tine coulters
Following harrow.
Hydraulic pump.
Micro seed metering option fitted.

Really really good condition.
It's only drilled 200 acres a year in the last 3 years since I bought it.

Works a treat on wet plough / conventional seedbeds.

Only looking to sell as I'm looking to move to direct / strip drilling - and this one won't won't cope with the trash I'm expecting it to.

£11,000 + VAT

I know this post is from a few years ago but what tractor did you have on the drill and what would be the least you would say would handle it? Cheers

I'd want 130hp on it if it were mine. You might handle it with a bit less - 110-120hp but I'm not sure.

Don't forget it's not all about power either - grip has a factor if on slopes.

I had a 4.8m one of these with the additional tool bar on the front as this one has. We drilled using a JD6420S and 6125R BUT we took the cultivator bar off the back and put it on the front linkage - which worked really well. I still have the frame that was made up if anyone wants one. We then had the drill on the back and we were flying along. When we sold it (did not do the job we wanted) we put it back together properly and the buyer picked it up with a JD 6920 and a big weight block on the front. HP to pull it is not the issue, its HP to lift it and oil flow to run the fan and lift it. 6420 struggled to lift it and run the fan, 6125R played with it.
