Recently had a service and new oil on my mower. Kubota GR1600 / II.
After had spotted minor oil leak, notig serious but keeping eye on it. Using to cut grass, cutting deck failed without warning and whenever try to engage engine cuts out. Blades free to move and not jammed. Oil seen to be leaking freely from underneath transmission.
Engine runs fine and tractor unit drives fine. Cutting deck does not engage and causes motor cut out. No obvious sounds or feel from worn or damaged bearings before failure.
Service guy suggests seal and bearing failure with full strip necessary. Thoughts or experience on this please?
