Pricing up various tenders at the moment , the mentioned is about 1k less than other brands , is called a contractor spec , what’s folks thoughts , Kuhn and krone priced too , thanks
 
That would be basically a Vicon/Kverneland then. Had my Vicon 6 rotor 15 years it’s ok but not amazing and whilst I haven’t buggered it yet it isn’t the strongest built bit of kit I own. Contractor version might be stronger. It does like to sway from side to side a fair bit sometimes too. I won’t change mine for a while but won’t buy another Vicon or it’s cousins when I do.

If it’s the H/D version it will have IIRC 7 tine arms per rotor rather than 6 and oil immersed crown wheel and pinions rather than grease nipple above crown wheel Haybob style.

cant be too bad if its still going,isnt the biggest problem with hay gear the person behind the wheel of the tractor.
