we had a 9540 and it was a cracking little loader tractor the only downside was the lack of weight in the tractor it's self

Having priced up zetor, new holland, landini, valtra and John deere. The kubota has come in quite abit cheaper and a 5 year warrenty. Currently got a same explorer so I guess anything would be abut of an upgrade, but also it's a light tractor too so not really a big issue for me. Height is a factor as with most people and loader tractors

Did you ever buy a tractor?

We very nearly bought a new M5111 a couple of years ago, but in the end purchased a s/h JD6220. Overall a good tractor but the lightweight was a major factor for us, especially as it was even lighter than the NH95 loader tractor it was going to replace.

Ended up between New holland and zetor and there wasn't much in price between the two. Having never drove a zetor and dealer being 2 hours away and weren't able to get a demo of one. So opted for the new Holland with the electro command gearbox same as our bigger tractor.

Quite surprising that there wasn`t a big difference between a NH and a Zetor, it no doubt made the decision much easier. Are you pleased with the machine?

Yeah pleased with it so far. Takes abit of getting used too when you have had an 2004 same explorer since new. Only gripe is the new Holland new power shuttle with a button for neutral but apart from that's is a hell of alot better than what we had before.
