Kubota/Mule/Gator

I have swapped my quad for a Kubota RTV diesel 2nd hand.

1st time using it slug pelleting I boiled it in no time and it had no go about it. Back to dealers, who spent 10 days and reckon to have sorted it.

Back slug pelleting today and it just seems be very sluggish. I can get 15mph downhill on rolled sown land but can only maintain 10-12mph on the level and down to 10max if anything steeper than dead level.
It's not boiling any more although guage reads warm side of normal.

My question is what do other makes achieve across sown land. There must be loads of these machines out pelleting at the moment.

I also have bought a trailed avadex applicator from Techneat. TBH I don't think my RTV will manage apart from crawling along:(

Was slug pelleting today on unrolled seedbeds with a JD gator at speeds of 22-24k. Could only manage 20k up the slope but would do 30+ on the flat if required. Never had any problem with it getting warm either. Would never go back to an ATV for slug pelleting

Polaris Ranger. Best specs on the market and tows a tonne. Road speed 40mph and slug pelleting speed as fast as you depending on how rough the ground is.

What HP is rtv, what weight are you toeing with your trailed machine? Many commenting are using mounted stocks type pellet machines. Out rtv will sit at 30k while doing this.
Think reboot likes anything that slates everything except JD. Think he works for them

To be honest that doesn't really sound like it's going the way it should.

I popped over to a neighbours yesterday to try his Kubota for comparison against a Cub Cadet I've got coming on demo and it was easily doing 8-10 mph up steep grassland, medium ratio, 2wd with two large fellas in.

Think it was a 13 plate if that makes any difference engine spec wise?

If your dealer had it 10 days... I'm guessing they didn't spend 100 hours on it... I'd say they probably cleaned radiator then forgot about it!
