Where do people get genuine spare parts for Kubota mini-diggers. I have a kx61-3 that needs a new fan belt but struggling to find a place to get one.

Depends where in the country you are. I split my Kubota spares shopping between..

1. TNS, my local ag dealer, that holds Kubota groundcare / amenity franchise
2. Cautrac, based outside of Colchester, they also have a depot in Bolton if you’re up that way
3. Hosplant, also in Essex, as said above. They are one of the earliest and biggest Kubota mini digger dealers in the country
4. Some stuff I have bought via mail order / ebay from EG Coles, again another big Kubota Groundcare dealer out of Salisbury

Cautrac and Hosplant would be my go to guys for Kubota digger bits and bobs.

I’m suprised what you mention about hosplant.i did not know they were a long established plant dealer.i got a price for a digger from them 2 1/2 years ago and spoke to em several times and arranged to go look at a machine.when I got there,no machine was there and they did not seem bothered either.they offered demo never happened either so I bought another volvo,my fourth.

Almost bought an KX080 8 tonner from them, lovely machine but was put off by the DPF on the then newly introduced Tier4 engines. Bought a Volvo from CES instead.

I should have said, Hosplant cut their teeth on Takeuchi diggers (rather than Kubota), and were one of their biggest dealers, but they had a rather large falling out and switched to Kubota.

Unfortunately it’s a common enough issue with newer Kubota engines fitted with a DPF, especially when they don’t get regularly hot enough to do a proper burn. Hire fleets must love them :dead:

Not really heard much from CES either. Bought several bits and pieces from them, had some more quotes for stuff. They don’t seek me out. Guess they figure I know where to find them when I need something and that’s really fine by me.
