No idea if they are the same sort of thing, but you could try Adam at Allied Weighing who makes weigh beams (think he's on TFF in fact). He might be able to help, or point you in the right direction.

Problem is, same as the actuator, can find cheaper online but Kuhn's have a 'special' plug on, i bet the same is with the weigh cell

if youve got details sizes s/no/ model number basically anything thats written on the cell i might be able to help you have lots of contacts with various manufacturers ,, you never know your luck

Mines failed after saying they'd been no bother. Have to replace both as no old style ones left. Apparently dk electronics can repair them.

Last year we put two weigh cells on one of our spreaders. dealer had recently lost the Kuhn agency they charged £1050 each.

wow seems expensive im currently having some loadcells made specifically for a jcb 526 loadall to convert the bucket into weighing machine , even made specfically to our design thers only cost 250 usd each!!!

Seems expensive. We replaced a weigh cell on the Keenan wagon recently. The weighcell, mounting bracket and cable was about £250 all in I think.

You guys aren't accounting for profit in the final figure the dealer charges. Think of the dealer's overheads, wages, etc and hand over your cash

Curiouse. Can you still spread when cells not working. Like a manual mode. Keep looking at weigh cell spreaders but worries me if it stops when busy.

Might be worth considering making some Kuhn ones it seems our spreader needs a new one every season - we would be first in line for a better option ....or a new spreader
